Busses will be running today, with the exception of the Bear Bus which has already ran. Add two hours to your regular bus stop time today. So if you normally get picked up at 7:30, plan for the bus to run at 9:30 this morning. Thank you.

After further analysis, we are calling a LATE START SCHEDULE today to give us more time to heat up some rooms. See the website for the LATE START SCHEDULE. School will start at 10:00am today and end at the regular time. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Please dress your kids warm today! We had a pump go out in the heating system causing some inconsistency with heating rooms at the schools. We are working to solve this problem as quickly as possible and should have it fixed as soon as possible. Thank you.

Hello everyone,

This week, we’re highlighting Brody Clagg’s engine project. For the past two months, Brody has been working to rebuild a blown-up Polaris 400. The previous owner told Brody he could keep it if he fixed it, and he’s just about there.

The engine had a failed piston and required several additional replacement parts. Fortunately, the cylinder was still within specification and undamaged, and with some reconditioning, it was able to be reused.

While projects like this may seem straightforward, they can be very challenging. Brody received this engine completely disassembled in a box, which alone can make any rebuild difficult. Along the way, there have been several key teaching moments, and Brody has persevered through all of them. I expect this engine to be running by the end of next week!

Keep up the great work, you’re crushing it!

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the people of our community. This is the third time this year that I have had the privilege of accepting tool donations for our shop program. These donations come from local businesses, community members, and anonymous donors who continue to demonstrate support for our students and our agricultural education program.

In this case, the tools were generously donated by Paul and Carrie Pedreira. The collection includes a wide range of equipment for carpentry, forestry, masonry, and welding. I cannot adequately express how thankful I am for donations of this caliber. These tools will not only be used daily in our shop, but they will also inspire and educate generations of students to come.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our program and our students. Your generosity truly makes a difference.
