We have an awesome group of students this year in Council's first ever Aquaculture Science Class. Students are learning about fish farming and everything about aquaculture! They traveled to McCall, ID on September 1st to work closely with Idaho Fish and Game and Nez Perce Tribe Fisheries to spawn huge summer run Chinook Salmon. Students were able to work closely with the Biologists and Technicians and get up close and personal with these majestic fish that were caught in nearby rivers and streams to now spawn for the next generation.
