We want to express our sincere thank you to those who attended the community meeting on March 3rd. Your questions and discussions were much appreciated and made us look more carefully at our numbers.
During the meeting, it was clear that there was concern with adding extracurricular activities to this levy. We went back to the drawing board and realized that the $250,000/year would be best utilized to fund qualified instructional aides in our schools.
As a result, the upcoming levy will only be used to fund salaries and benefits for instructional aides.
