Geometry topics include defining the basic tools of Geometry, including lines, angles and the relationships formed within them. Students will use Algebra to determine lengths and angle measures. Students will also investigate angle pairs, parallel and perpendicular lines, congruence and relationships within triangles, similarity, right triangle trigonometry, perimeter, area, arcs, and volume relationships. Students use the tools of analytic geometry, synthesizing algebra and geometry concepts, to describe circles in the coordinate plane.
