We are excited about the changes that are taking place in our library with the Breaking Thru project. The vision of the project is to renovate the neglected library to make the room a modern, welcoming educational space. Donations from the community and alumni will contribute to collaborative student work spaces and an entrepreneurial student-run coffee shop. New books will be purchased through various grants to reflect the diverse needs of our student body. The goal is to make this space more inviting and better utilized by our students.
What does this have to do with you? As part of this library renovation, we are looking to honor our fantastic alumni in two different ways. First, we would like to put together a veteran’s wall to recognize CHS graduates who served for our country. Second, many of our alumni have gone on to achieve wonderful things after graduating from Council. We want to display your accomplishments to inspire our current students. We are looking for not only career-based accomplishments but also achievements in hobbies, travels, family life, etc.
